Hi all , I have bought a 68 plate Grandland 1.2 with 1,900 miles on the clock, car had a scrape down o/s doors and both seat belt pretensioners had deployed. I have replaced both doors and seat belts/pre tensioners but cant find the Airbag ECU? Any ideas anyone, i have removed the centre console and its not under there!
Also was reading about different issues with gearboxes. after i repaired mine and went for a drive i realised there was no 6th gear ! took it to Vauxhall who wanted nothing to do with it warranty wise as it is on the register.... cost me £650 for a gearbox rebuild and the gearbox company said they had seen no end of these boxes with very low miles as the gear selector forks are made of very weak brass and dont last 2 minutes... food for thought !

I’ve looked under the gear console and by the arm rest are you saying it’s actually under the carpet, thanks
