So, it's time for me to move on from the Grandland after 2 years.
The pros, in my experience.
Comfortable.
Reliable.
Surprisingly good handling for it's size. Decent power, again for the size of the vehicle and engine size.

The cons.
A slightly disappointing boot capacity.
The cramped pedal space means that unless i have the clutch pedal in the centre of my foot, my shoe often either clips the footrest or the brake pedal.
The gearbox whine. It used to be noticeable in 2nd gear at low speed, mainly while using engine braking but now I'm hearing it at higher speeds. It's the main reason why I decided not to buy it in the end. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of buying the car and then trying to get it sorted through Vauxhall with no guarantee of success and then trying to sell it with that noise if they wouldn't sort it out.

All in all though, it's been a decent enough vehicle.

The new model Astra Sports Tourer has now become available on my company fleet scheme so I've ordered one.
