Poss catalytic pong

Morning Grandlanders, a bit of a weird question but on returning to the car after a running an errand, sometimes there is distinct whiff or smell inside the car, similar to curry/garlic possibly from the cat. converter? I have checked the obvious of any foodstuff, shopping etc. left in the car. I have not smelt it but my dear lady has. I’m thinking it may be the catalytic converter but would appreciate your comments. I hasten to add that it is not me. Happy motoring and enjoy the ride.
