Reverse Camera retrofit Kit

Hi all,
I have an Emperical In Car reverse camera kit and looking for help on Trim removal (especially the tailgate).. the instructions supplied on a USB stick are poor with the interface box appearing to be fitted in series off the radio unit in the center console. I'm happy installing this end, but unsure how to disassemble the tailgate trim to run the cable. Have a Mokka X myself and have done this on my car, but this retrofit is for my dad's Grandland. Is there a particular method on trim removal or any tips/advice..?? looking at running the cable then along the floor edge on the drivers side...
