Primacy 3 Tyres
I have 2020 Grandland X Hybrid 4 with 21000 miles on clock and now looking to replace the second set of Primacy 3 tyres. Have driven for 50 years and have never had so few miles from tyres. They are great in the wet but feel 10000 miles is a bit low. Has anyone changed from Primacy 3 and if so any recommendations about which tyres to use on the Hybrid 4.

HI Rond19, I also have a 2020 Hybrid 4 and also getting poor tyre wear, had to get both rears changed at 9800 miles, the fronts are faring a little better, now at 13000 miles and approx 3mm tread left. I replaced rears with the same tyre, primacy 3, as I wanted them all the same.
Hi. That's very similar to me. I had to replace all 4 with Primacy 3 last September and November and like you am now having to change rear again. Front wearing better. That's why I am thinking of changing to something other than Primacy 3 but not sure what.
Tyre wear on the Grandland is mainly down to the slightly over assisted brakes which increases tyre wear. Both our 17" and 19" wheel Grantland's have tyre wear that is much quicker than I have found on other makes and models owned.

I am very wary of fitting PrimCy 3 again as total 8 tyres for 21000 miles is not good in anyone's book. Had tracking and everything checked prior to fitting last ones but still the same. Thinking of trying Good Year EfficientGrip Performance 2 as they seem to get good reviews.
The review may help, I have had Bridgestone on a few cars and found them decent. I don't think it will solve the wear issue as the 17" wheels on a previous SE which were Bridgestone's were only slightly less wear wise than the Primacy 3 tyres. Although they are now on their 4th iteration. But Bridgestone Turanza are generally cheaper by £20-£30 a tyre...

I'm thinking that the next time I need tyres to try the Michelin-e Primacy, its a tyre designed for electric/hybrid vehicles, I have read only good reviews about it. Any thoughts anyone ?
As you can see from my first post here I have found the Primacy 3 tyres very poor for mileage. If you are not bothered about 10000 miles on them then they are a good tyre but not long lasting. Thinking of trying the Good Year Efficient Grip Performance2 this time.
