The most annoying service indicator ever

This is a service indicator. It’s been on for 2 months now. Why do they feel the need to have a spanner in white next to the odometer for two months. I know it needs its expensive 12 month service and it’s booked in for Monday. So now today as the two months has run out I now get an orange spanner too. I KNOW IT NEEDS A SERVICE AND ITS BOOKED IN. So question is. Is there a way to knock these off temporarily or not.

Thanks. Do you know how long it’s reset for? Will it be 12 months or a temp reset?

Garage will be resetting it tomorrow anyway. I’m sure if you manually reset it, it’ll reset for 12 months and you’ll never get true service dates after that. One thing that has really annoyed me with this feature though is the constant pings with the sat nav to go to a dealership.
