No front USB PORT

Just picked up my grandland x 68 plate, there seems to be no front USB Port in the car but there is a rear one. There is a gap where it should be, I wanted to connect my iPhone for CarPlay. We checked another in the forecourt and that was the same. Any ideas if it should be there as standard?

Should be in the back of the storage under the heater controls. Never known one to not have it.

It should be there. It's weird that another car you looked at was the same. May be worth asking the place you bought it from if they can help

It should have one there but due to parts shortages when some cars were made Vauxhall removed these parts.

I thought that was only on more recent cars. Surely should be there on a 68 plate car.

My guess it has been broken at some point and the USB port has been removed as the surround that holds it is present. Hopefully the wiring is still there too and just needs a new one fitting and plugging in. It was standard fit as we had a 68 plate Grandland X and used it quite allot.

Thanks guys, it’s gone back in for something else but the dealers are looking at it while it’s in, so fingers crossed
