Update help

Can anyone help?
I have a 2019 grandland x
Touch screen and map update was needed. So I followed link from the app downloaded the vaxhall (opel) update software transfered to an usb though the software.
When I plug it into the car I get an error message
" version not compatible with hardware"

Has it downloaded the wrong version or have I done something wrong.

Happens a lot. It’s a right faff updating these cars. … might find if you try it a few times it then registers if not it might be your usb. Is it brand new or been used before? Always best to have a brand new one and only ever used for these regular updates they throw out.

How did you get on with this? I'm going through the same issue right now.

Worked fine for me. 2019 elite. Took over an hour in total though with engine running the whole time.
