Rear Wipe Continuous Running

I have an occasional issue with the rear wiper. When raining (maybe only when raining ) and reversing the rear wiper will wipe but will continue to wipe even when switching the ignition off. I Can generally clear it by switchng on agian and selecting rear wiper options and off on the storke. My car is a Grandland X Ultimate NAV Hybrid 4 but I think this circuitry must be common to non Hybrid models. Anyone else experienced this. When seleting rear wipe manualy this issue does not arise.. Only seems to be when reverse is selected, again not sure if this is connected into the front rain detection mode.

Hi , yes had this happen also, on two separate occasions, never got to the bottom of it, but it's been months now since the last time, had actually forgotten about it until I saw your post , I also have the Hybrid 4
