Hi guys and ladies,

I'm my grandland I need to restart my auto wipers every time I start the car even if it is in the auto position already.

I.e. I need to move from auto to manual and back to auto to activate the wipers for them to be activated on auto mode.

Has someone have this issue? my previous car remembered that they were in the auto position and worked like a charm.

Really?
Not much auto iff we need to turn them on every time it is raining.

Thanks for the answers 😊

Was told its a protection thing in case of frost, stops the blades getting damaged

My 2019 Tech Line is exactly the same and I’m guessing the new Ultimate which was ordered in Feb will be exactly the same.

I would think it would be the same but be interesting to see when you get it if it is.

OK, if its that I understand it, but still when it's frost we can deactivate before starting the car, that's what I always done in my previous focus.

Just wanted to understand if my car had any issue as it was my first where the auto wiper needs to be changed to auto every time you start the car. On rainy days of course.
