hello Valer , thankyou for that info .
i see you have two torque values .
and i cannot see any washers on either roll bar drop link nut .
i may of given you the wrong name for the part .
i probably should of called it front roll bar drop links .
sorry for me not understanding .
and thankyou again .

Yes we are referring to the same part,
I'm not surprised that the Febi nuts are different to the genuine,it may be the Febi have collared nuts ?
i would assume that either the Vx ones can come with either nut type or possibly the originals have one of each.

I bought my 68 glx last November and had noisy drop links too. I took it back to the dealers and they replaced them under warranty for me as I had had the car less than a month and they were banging so much. I would try the dealers first before buying new ones yourself. Hope this helps

it went to the dealers just before the warranty ran out .
they said they could not here anything .
then one week later they got worse .
i contacted vauxhall direct and they said the dealer needs to sort it out .
two other dealers said cannot help as warranty had run out .
never got anywhere , this went on for six months .
easer to do myself , less hassle in the end .
hopefully today i may get chance to change them , they have been in a box for weeks now .
