Continuing saga of warranty upgrade. Dealership stated that upgrade was to sort some problem with electric driving. Now can't get car into electric mode no matter what. Have sent several e mails to customer services but still waiting to hear what they have to say. Did like the car prior to upgrade but now not fit for purpose.

Hi, I' M Willie and I live in Inverkip, near Greenock in Scotland.

Our Grandland X is a 1.2 (petrol) Turbo Elite Nav 8 speed Auto.

It was bought "new" from Arnold Clark in April 2021, & the car was first registered in November 2020.

The two issues which I have with the car are the "Stop/Start" system and the fuel consumption.

I have just read the countless posting on the "S/S" system and I shall try some of the suggestions.

On the fuel consumption, up till the car's first service the average was around 37mpg, but since then it has gradually deteriorated and is now 29mpg. My driving routes have not changed and the car has now done around 8,500 miles. Could the problems with the "S/S" (which began after the first service), be a contributing factor?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Good afternoon- my name is Gwyn from Lancashire. I have a 68 reg Sport Nav diesel which has developed an ad blue fault after less than 27,000 miles and 3.5 years old. I have been quoted £1800 to replace the tank, injector and NOX sensor. I am told that this is a common issue with Vauxhall/ Peugeot and Citroen cars using the same system. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I right that a problem like this won’t appear overnight and has been deteriorating over some time? Thank you

Hi Gwyn 501 and Welcome to the Forum.

I would try contacting Customer care with your issue and if you have no luck with them then try the CEO office as they might offer to help with a contribution.

Hi kenny15 and Welcome to the Forum.
Good specification you have there.
My 1.2 Petrol was serviced at the end of the last year and they put in 5w-30 oil.
