Hi

I’ve been trying to update the software\maps on my 70 plate
Grandland X

I’ve tried on multiple USB sticks (branded, unbranded, various sizes)

Each time I get the following two error messages one after the other:
1 - No media on USB
2 - Version not compatible with hardware

Has anyone got a solution to this?
I’ve spend hours downloading via the Opel app, and £’s on UsB sticks, but I’m still getting the same outcome.

It’s a VAUXHALL GRANDLAND X HATCHBACK 1.2 Turbo SRi Nav 5dr (70 plate)

Any help gratefully received as I’m loosing the will here

Following.
Having exactly the same issues with my 70 plate 1.5d Elite Nav. I have same messages and the Usb stick was supplied by the local VX dealer.
I showed the service manager images I took of the error messages and he said he will supply another Usb stick.

Its a (PSA) Vauxhall issue and we have to wait until they provide a new update.

Thanks for sharing. In your experience do you have any idea how long that may take to be issued?

Last time this happened it was a few months before it was resolved if I remember right.
The maps should still work for updates but its the Firmware issue at the moment that will not update.

Same issue tried multiple downloads and flash drives, tried just the infotainment no joy, might try maps but probably pointless as I use AA with a wireless dongle, stayed up past 1am to make sure it completed correctly, the joys, at least not bricked it yet lol

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply - I’ll just limp along as it is now and try again in a few months time.

I think if I tried again I’d inflict costly damage to it, so will just persevere with it how it is. and leave it alone for a few months! Just knowing it’s not operator error is is a relief in itself.
