Hi Mark.C,
It is difficult to work in there but the fuseboard is there, it is set a bit behind the 'white' shield and down to the left.
See my pic below, sorry for the poor definition.

If you move the cables and connectors, you should see the fuses set back. Not the best board to get to but it is in there.
I also removed the vertical panel between dash and the passenger door, if nothing else it gives additional light into the area and room for another hand.

Cheers Coatgallou, that now makes total sense. What a badly designed setup.

Plenty of swearing yesterday. I think I am going to have to remove the glove box, it's a nightmare.

Removing it will make access slightly easier - not a lot. Trust me... I've been through this pain once already and I'm about to go through it again today. Ugh. That fusebox is a joke.

Yeah, absolute pain.
After removing the glove box, the 'white shield' will lift away and allow a little more access but removing the attached connectors from it and then deflecting the locator lugs isn't easy.

Here we go again 😭 What a special person designed this.

Cable spaghetti...

For the boot socket fuse, un-clipping and deflecting the 'white cover' downwards, the fuses are visible and accessible but may require a pair of long nosed pliers in order to reach them. The other method is to unclip the attached connectors and loom from the cover allowing it to be withdrawn allowing more access to the top bank of fuses. Even the un-clipping of these is quite a task too.

Absolutely a nightmare never has a car been designed so that you have to pay to remove a fuse. Thankfully I am no going down that route.
