Please stop telling people what to download. The update you refer to may be suitable for your car, but not my car.
Let Vauxhall Update decide which one is suitable.

I am only advising everyone its available not telling people to download it.

Accessed via 'My Vauxhall' on your PC or Mac.
If your VIN number has no updates outstanding, there will be nothing to download.
It is kind of Vauxhall to simplify the process, but the 'Update' program has been launched without fanfare. Who knows it exists?

I do and it is a lot easier,the my Vauxhall app is brilliant

anyone advise me please - firmware update worked fine on 2020 SRI NAV but says not compatable with hardware on 2019 ELITE NAV ?
any ideas

I would advise you to download the My Vauxhall App and enter the 2019 Elite Nav VIN number as this will say if its compatible or not with this car. It might be that the USB file has changed in some way if it worked in one car and then you tried it in another.

hi im sure the car does not write onto the USB - i see maybe 4 people have the same issue - could be just a hardware issue - i was after one of those who had this issue and resolved it

Hi The reason I suggested to download the Vauxhall app on your pc is to check as they maybe different versions of the car therefore it might not work as different software. The not compatible with hardware is sometimes as well when the USB has not copied it correctly but if you say it worked on one car. I have had the issue before I reformatted my USB and downloaded the software again.

Just tried the new way of downloading the sat nav updates through the my vauxhall app on my laptop.
All dlwnloaded onto usb uaing instructions.
Inserted into vehicle and came up with 'not compatible with hardware'

Any help please

This error sometimes occurs if the file has not downloaded correctly you will need to start again by reformatting the USB then downloading it again. . Does the USB your using have at least 16gb of data space?

it is just as grandland says very easy when using the opel update
follow the instructions in the app and get a 16 gb usb stick see pictures below
