Hi.
I'm new to this forum so sorry if thus has been asked countless times before!
Driving back late tonight in my wife's 2018 diesel Grandland X, off a roundabout and getting up to speed the car revved itself right up for a few seconds and then a engine repair fault message came up. Turned the engine off and on and was able to nurse it for the usual 6 minutes drive home and it let me change gears no problem but only let me go around 1500 rpm in all gears so believe this was it in limp mode ?
Weather was pretty wet so unsure if water to a sensor or similar has caused any issue or if something bigger..
A family member has a fault diagnostic we will try but just seeing if anyone has come across a similar issue in the past and what their fault was, noting it could be a variety of things looking online.
