I’m having a big problem with mrr ur 2018 1.5cdti auto grandland x. It’s had the engine fault repair needed coming up for the last few months and it seems to relate to the egr valve. I’ve changed said valve for a new genuine one and the faults still comes back as Egr obstructed.
The old valve and the new one have slight soot on them with no oily ash crud some vehicles get so I know the valve isn’t at fault. I’ve changed the adblue injector for a new genuine part as this was crystallised up so solved that problem.
I took it to a dealer and they seem to think the egr cooler is to blame, so that needs replacing. The problem I have is that I can’t find any procedure on how to remove this item, as it seems to reach across the whole rear of the engine under pipes and wiring.has anyone on this forum had this replaced? If so how did you do it? And would one of you have detailed instructions on how to do this?
Thanks in advance as I’m pulling the remains of my hair out with this and I don’t have much to start with. Image[/img]
