Hi,

Since some months the central unlocking via the boot does not work anymore and the foot sensor does not open boot anymore either.
so when I tried to open the boot, when the car is locked, in the pasted with my keyfob near the car, the boot would be unlocking the car and open the boot.
now I hear "peep peep peep" noise and nothing happens, so I need to take my key out, press the unlock car button and then I can proceed to open the boot like normally, by pressing the button on the boot itself.
so the button works, but not when the car is locked...

also the foot sensor is not working anymore, this i can not describe, as it just does not do anything anymore.

I have brought the car to the workshop about the foot sensor, but they did not find anything. (not a opel / vauxhall dealer)

Does somebody have had this problem and a solution?

Best regards, DnBiert

Since the car was in for engine faults my touch opening of door locks has not worked. The dealer said they'll check it at the next service which is overdue because of the replacement engine issue (see my posts: "Cambelt replaced after 34,000 miles"). I wonder if a fuse might need replacing? I've always had an issue with the boot foot sensor, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't....
