Starting issue

Opel Grandland X 2019 2.0 CDTI 177HP

I got into the car, clicked the start button, everything on the car turned on, but the car just cranked, when I let go of the start button, everything still turned on, the car key didn't respond, nothing on the car responded, when I tried to start the car again, it still just cranked, I tried several times.

I managed to reset it by removing the terminal from the battery for five minutes and after that everything returned too normal.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
