Door/boot lock and unlocking

23 plate ultimate Grandland 1.2 petrol

When we first got this car Aug 23 each time you opened the boot with a foot movement the car doors also unlocked and obviously locked when when foot swiped again
However now the car doors will not lock doing this

So if you swipe your foot to unlock boot and again to close you have to manually lock the car doors

I hope ive explained this well enough and wonder if anyone has had same issue ?

Could anyone check please if their grandland is behaving same ?

On the button on the tailgate with the picture of the foot under the rear of the car, press it and the greenlight should come on, it should then lock all doors when using your foot.

On the 2018 model I had to press this each time I needed it, on the 2021 model I have now you just press it once and it stays in that mode

That’s the answer. You’ve probably pressed it and not realised. Once lit up, your foot will become powerful to the observer. I love mine and this feature.
