boot light

Hi

I want to change the boot light (as they are rubbish) in my 2020 elite nav to a longer led light strip. I know on some vehicles its easier said than done as they don't always work. Has anyone done this using the existing wiring from the vx ones already in place.

I Disconnected the original light and wired 2 cool white 12v led strips to the existing wiring in mine, they light up entire carparks lol lol ( by the way they are weight vests in the boot, My wife is a personal trainer

)

Have tried to get it to work by connecting to existing wiring today without much look. Any tips

I just checked the voltage on the original light and then wired the 12v led strips accordingly and it worked perfectly ( check the + &- are the correct way )
