23 plate grandland with blank drivers screen

I have a new Grandland 23 plate, purchased four weeks ago and has now had a blank drivers screen five or six times and bing bong sounding. Switch of, leave for ten minutes and try again. Screen usually comes back to life but EML on and message "Engine fault: Repair needed" shows. Been back to dealer four times and they can't find issue. I put a code reader on and shows U0028. Are there known issues and what is the fix?

U0028 is the code fault on Vehicle Area Network (controls screens among other things) which fits with your screen going off
