Can anyone suggest why the following fault might be occurring, nothing comes up with diagnostics and the lookers garage are clueless.

Intermittently the following happens:
The car unlocks but the automatic wing mirrors don't open.
The automatic boot control stops working.
The car doesn't seem to register the fob when attempting to start the car with the clutch and push button or it can take in excess of 5minutes before the car will turn on.
Once on an error message appears stating the front and rear fog lights need serviceing. If you turn the lights on/off the error message disappears.
The date and time reset but weirdly all the preset radio stations remain the same.

Lookers have suggested sending the car to the technical team but implied this would be very pricey.

Hello SEP171 and Welcome to the Forum.

Have they tried taking the battery off for a small period of time and then reconnecting it as this solves some issues.
Have they checked the battery charge/connections?
How old is the car? Could the remote key fob battery need replacing due to the age of the car.

It's the battery protection module that's needs replacing. It's located at the front of the battery.
It costs approximately £150 from the main dealers.
Just do a search, I've put a few videos up on it.
