Navi 5 infotainment (Sat Nav bigger screen version) and music playlists
Putting Carplay and Android Auto aside (I prefer the sound of the built in mp3 player than Carplay), interested in knowing other people’s experience of playing ‘playlists’ from a USB device. The process seems overly complicated and not intuitive. So I’ve copied some audio files and accompanying play...

Re: ANNOYING RATTLE.
Discovered my noise was worn droplinks. Replaced under warranty, no more clunky noises from the back. However I do sometimes get a thin vibration rattle when driving which sounds like it's coming from the front central vent? Also get a small noise from the driver's window in colder weather, which I ...

Re: Automatic Tilting Mirrors
That's weird! I've installed the latest firmware on my Grandland Sport (mid 2018) and the mirror adaptation in reverse is still there, between Active safety brake and Rear wiper in reverse. Pop along to the dealer and ask them to check it on the diagnostic unit, it probably just needs a box ticking ...

Re: Map &firmware updates
I can confirm that the new PC and Mac app for updating your Vauxhall’s maps and touchscreen firmware works great on a June 2018 Grandland, finally it’s the first solution that has enabled me to update the display to white temperature readout, vauxhall logo and overall better performance. I did an up...

Re: My Vauxhall App - Issue
At last! Discovered earlier today that Vauxhall have now launched a dedicated PC or Macintosh program that you can install, enter your VIN details and it checks for updates. To my surprise it not only came up with a map update, but an update to the touchscreen navigation infotainment system! It took...

Re: Wireless CarPlay converter (CPLAY2air)
Great to hear that someone has had first hand experience of the CPLAY2air. Was that with iOS or Android? How long does it take to connect when you get in the car and do you need to intervene, or does it just start working within x seconds?

Re: My Vauxhall App - Issue
I’ll give that a try for sure although I have keyless ignition at the moment also the radio doesn’t stay on long enough without the engine running because of low battery voltage and eco mode, so will have to drive around for a bit first, well to the shop and back.

Re: My Vauxhall App - Issue
I've tried everything with the app, dealer has 'approved' my registration and everything on the website. I've never had the bluetooth connect message from within the app, I've connected to bluetooth but the app never recognises that I am connected. I've contacted tech support and they just tell me t...

Re: Orange Fault, in Small Dashboard Display
If there are any faults, I think you can press the check button on the instrument display or the menu button and scroll through any issues. Not sure if the check button (next to the zero odometer button) only works with the engine off but ignition on...

Re: Rear twin fog light upgrade
I could have sworn that my Grandland X has two fog lights (L and R) as well as 2 reversing lights? Might have to go and check, it’s a Summer 2018 Sport.
