Re: What I love most about my Grandland is...
I love the full beam assist on the headlamps. Took me by surprise one night when I drove through a dark area and the main beam came on! Thinking now I should upgrade the halogen bulbs to philips for a whiter light. I love the hill start assist, mine is manual and whilst I am still adjusting to an el...

Navi 5.0 voice commands - which ones have you discovered?
At first I was sceptical about the built in voice control for the Navi 5.0 system, but after some research it does seem to work well. Interesting that it only seems to work when I’m driving, when the engine is off a message says voice commands not available (or something similar). Anyway I’ve manage...

Re: The Long Thread of how many MPG you get...
Still haven't refilled the tank since the first full top up a fortnight ago but so far on a mixture of mostly motorway and some urban driving I have managed just over 300 miles on half a tank of petrol! Very impressed.

Re: Onstar Free email
I bought a used Grandland but OnStar isn't activated as far as I'm aware, it's just over a year old, I realise the service will shutdown in a year, is it worth subscribing and if so why? How much does it cost, shame they can't just make it free until it closes down.

Re: Alarm system
It comes on once you lock the vehicle. Definitely works, I was cleaning the car and accidentally pressed the lock function on the key whilst it was in my pocket... Good siren though as opposed to using the horn. 😁. No led indicator though unlike my Astra gtc which had a flashing red led on the sun s...

Re: Mudflaps
Many thanks for the photos. Quite discreet but as you say functional, should help keep the sides cleaner in the winter.

petrol fuel cap doesn't tighten
Not sure if this is normal behaviour or a fault. I went to full up the Grandland for the first time on the weekend. I noticed the petrol cap didn't unscrew as on previous cars but kept turning. I did though manage to remove it once it was aligned in a certain position. On replacing the cap I aligned...

Re: Mudflaps
Would like to see a photo of a Grandland with mudflaps, the only photos I've seen are close ups of just the individual flap. Might help me to decide whether to fit some.

Re: HELP: Eco mode activated
You can turn on the ignition without starting the engine if it's keyless, just don't press the clutch. Might help to keep things on longer?
