Re: Filling up with Jerry can

The fuel filler flap can only be opened
if the vehicle is unlocked. Open the
fuel filler flap by pushing the flap.
To open the fuel filler flap of a hybrid
vehicle, a depressurisation phase is
required to avoid the emission of fuel
vapour.

Re: firmware/satnav updates

I am in the middle of downloading now. I installed Vauxhall update again and was told a new version was available. I accepted the new version and was then in the hands of Opel Update. They insist on you typing in your Vin Number, no copy and paste allowed. Also have to type in a name for your car li...

Re: Electric Traction system fault

Breakdown call Pressing the Black button (next to the SOS button),for more than 2 seconds connects you to a roadside assistance service provider. Some can read the On-Board Diagnostics at the roadside. Most will trailer your car to a Vauxhall dealer. I had the electric traction fault, but was able t...

Re: Battery refurb

@brucey, if you have a motorised tailgate, you will find a dedicated 12V battery in the boot (under the floor).

Hybrid 4 12V behaviour.jpg

My Hybrid 4 does not have Start/Stop. The button to disable Start/Stop does not exist.
I am attaching a photo to show the odd behaviour of 12V batteries on Hybrid 4.
Now we are driving a 'computer-on-wheels', everything we thought we knew is out-of-date.

Re: Battery refurb

The RED plastic is a quick-release lever. Raise it and the clamp opens for tool-free removal from the battery terminal.
