Re: Daily updates.

The problem with newsletters like that, is that a lot of people subscribe to them, so it's not spam, but they end up getting tired of them after a while and start marking them as spam rather than unsubscribing. Email providers have systems to automatically analyse the metadata (e.g. from, to and sub...

Re: Sport Nav Gone

That's interesting. In all fairness, these changes were coming since most of the modifications seem to be streamlining the whole production within PSA (Peugeot Citroën), as in using more PSA parts, paints and services rather than GM's. I am very surprised to see the spare wheel option deleted altoge...

Re: Bought tech line with keyless entry - received nothing of the sort

I'm sorry to hear about this story. The dealer really should have known better, because the trims have been updated about a year ago, now. I could understand the compications in terms of logistics when someone ordered a car in July last year, and got delivered different equipment in September, as I ...

Re: Satnav Update

Just downloaded the latest update from My Vauxhall, and it looks like v14 (2019 Q2) is the latest. It seems to be the same package if I check from Peugeot's website as well. There is also a software update available for the infotainment system, but I've heard it's a bit buggy, so I'm holding it for ...

Re: Newbie but cheating a bit

Welcome! I concur! I guess French people (including myself  ) are quite chauvinistic, so they go for the 3008 instead, hence the lack of activity for the Grandland in car forums. Just having a look at the Caradisiac forums says it all. I personally prefer the looks of the Grandland, and in ...

Re: Recall

Yep, 1.6 Diesel 2018 here as well, and got the letter yesterday morning. I guess I'll take advantage of this visit to the garage to get the issue with the voltage drop alerts when I put on my indicators looked at.

Re: "Ding" noise whilst driving

I think Mark replied in this thread that the issue comes from a fault (voltage drop) in a headlamp. I remember seeing more details about that in other threads of the forum. My car has done it to me only once for now, but if it does it too often, I'll definitely look into having the headlamp replaced...

Re: Firmware Update

Just to make things clear, I have just successfully updated my unit with the latest Firmware from Peugeot (21-07-16-32_NAC-r0_NAC_EUR_WAVE2). I confirm it still looks the same. I'm now putting the latest maps (12.0.0.0-r0) on the USB stick. :D

Re: Firmware Update

thanks, so it's not region specific, this unit really is subpar for such a great car, I have reached out to my local dealer to try and push this thing up the chain, but I will not get my hopes up. I can only hope someone can break the protections of the car and firmware and fix some of the basic st...

Re: Powered Tailgate

I think it's a safety feature. When you swing your foot (rather slowly), take a step back and wait a second or so. I think the idea is that if you keep swinging your foot, it considers you're still too close to the tailgate and you would obstruct it. But yeah, doesn't work 100%.
