Since the car was in for engine faults my touch opening of door locks has not worked. The dealer said they'll check it at the next service which is overdue because of the replacement engine issue (see my posts: "Cambelt replaced after 34,000 miles"). I wonder if a fuse might need replacing...

May be related to cam belt disintgration issue. Just do a search on the forum for this.

Update on my above post of 23rd August:
Following further inspection on 10th September, Vauxhall dealer replaced engine oil (again) and said to come back after a further 600 miles, or sooner if low oil light comes on. Will provide further update in due course...
