Re: Pinging sound occasionally when I use indicator

Any more thoughts on this “problem” as such? Mine only does it when indicating left and only the first time I indicate. Wouldn’t it be nice to know why🤣🤣

Re: Screen black & no sound

Wow, some bad luck there, including the inefficiency of team Vauxhall. I trust you are not having to pay for the wet belt situation. That would be the icing on the cake 😁😁.

Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty

If you Google for the CEO of Vauxhall it will show that it’s James.taylor@vauxhall.co.uk. I made the mistake of emailing paul.willcox and never got a reply. Possibly because it was a complaint about the major hash up of the wet belt situation and Vauxhall’s way of trying to squirm out of paying for ...

Re: Wet timing belt disintegrated, new engine required outside warranty

Hi kaz Exactly the same thing happened to me. Ring Customer Care and get them to authorise you to hire a car and that they will pay for it once your car is fixed. I hired one for 7 weeks whilst I waited for the parts to arrive, (9 days) and then they couldn’t fit them until 5 weeks later due to thei...

Re: Keyless stop / start engine button

Hi, I’ve always gone A. I can’t see the point of having to press the button twice. The car is still in park mode, so I can fit seat belt and do whatever else needs attention whilst it’s starting to warm up. The radio fires up, as does the satnav, hit the heated steering wheel button and then I’m goo...

Re: Wet Belt issue

Daveb1089 wrote Hi, Just as a conclusion to a couple of notes that I wrote about this issue. I had my car serviced September 2023 and was informed that it had the wet belt problem and obviously, the only advice they could offer, was don’t drive it until it’s fixed. They agreed to do it F.O. C. but t...

Re: Help!

Hi, I’m on my second Grandlandx, both with keyless entry and neither of them self locked. I always just touch the handle and then it locks. I always know it’s locking because I hear the door mirrors folding. I’m not doubting your statement, as it may well be a newer feature on later models, but know...

Re: Pinging sound occasionally when I use indicator

@Gomoca
Hi I’m with you. My car (70 plate) has done it since I’ve had it. Often wondered why, but it hasn’t bothered me to the extent of chasing up why. I guess it would be nice to know though. Anyone with any bright ideas, or better yet, the correct reason?
