Re: Speed sign recognition.

I have now had chance to check my speed sign recognition issue with the Vx dealer and VX customer care. The speed sign recognition operating model has now been changed on all new Vx models. The speed limit is now only momentarily displayed when a speed sign is detected and not retained as it was on ...

Re: Speed sign recognition.

Picked my latest Grandland up about 3 weeks ago. 1.2T Ultimate in Cobalt Blue. Surprised that at that time my local dealer had two Ultimates and one GSE in stock. I have mentioned the Speed Sign Recognition issue to my dealer who suggests that it’s working normally which I do find surprising. If it ...

Speed sign recognition.

Has anybody noticed that speed sign recognition no longer seems to retain the speed display once it has detected the speed sign and initially displayed the speed limit. After a short period the display reverts to - -. On my previous Grandlands and new Astra the current speed limit has remained in th...

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here!

Back on the forum after picking up my latest Grandland Ultimate earlier in the week. This is now my third Grandland which must say something. I have been driving a new Astra hybrid for the past three months. The new Astra is a delightful car but the hybrid option was not for me due to the very limit...

Re: Plugin Hybrid full charge

I swapped my Grandland for an Astra hybrid just before Christmas and I’m currently experiencing a similar battery range.

Re: Grandland X no more

Traded my Grandland Elite Nav in today and collected an Astra 1.6 GS Line Hybrid. Our Grandland was now getting a bit big for my wife to drive hence our downsizing. This was my second Grandland so who knows I may still be returning to this forum in the future. Good luck to you all in the future and ...

Re: Grandland X no more

Coincidentally just ordered an Astra Ultimate to replace my Grandland Elite. Over the past years we have had two Grandland’s and three Mokka’s so it’s going to be interesting returning to a non SUV type vehicle. Did you have to wait for your Astra to be built or did you manage to pick a vehicle up f...

Re: Foot rest.

For me personally it’s a much better driving experience with the footrest removed, perhaps I just have big feet. In the early days of the Forum a number of members including me commented about problems regarding the foot rest getting in the way when using the clutch. I suspect that over time people ...

Re: Foot rest.

I fear that you may have misread my comment. It was a dammed footrest not damaged. I removed the plastic top of the footrest with a sharp knife as step 1 of the removal procedure. I personally have never liked the footrest obstructing your foot as you use the clutch. I put up with it on my first Gra...

Carpet patched up with...
