You’re right it doesn’t state not to. Which is why I was confused when Halfords said what they said. Perhaps they’ve damaged a few customers roofs whilst fitting them? It wouldn’t surprise me.
So the feet will sit on the steel beams on the outside of the glass panel?
Thanks for the reply.

Roof bars with panoramic roof
We are off camping next week, I haven’t yet fit a towbar to the car. Has anyone got a roof rack on their Grandland with a glass panoramic roof? I don’t have rails, and Halfords said they wouldn’t fit it to my car and they wouldn’t recommend fitting one my self either. Went to Vauxhall on Saturday, s...

Tyre pressures
Evening all, What pressures are you running your tyres at? Looking to see if I can eek out any extra mileage! Every little helps, especially given the current situation. I’ve got a 67 plate 1.2 petrol on 17” wheels. I can’t complain at my mpg, regularly return over 50mpg average on A and B roads, wi...

Re: Turbo Whistle
Thanks both for your input.
The trouble is, I’m really not sure if it’s excessive or not. I’ll try and do a bit more digging, it looks like the turbo is fairly easy to get to, but I’ll have a proper look later after work.

Turbo Whistle
I’m just wondering…. Does anyone else get a fair bit of turbo whistle when putting your foot down in the 1.2 petrol? Doesn’t appear to whistle at the same revs with little throttle. Engine is much quieter than previous cars, it’s also my first turbo petrol, previous diesels didn’t whistle as loudly ...

Re: Struggling for a smooth drive
Yes, the 1.2 pure tech. It’s growing on me, I do a 60mile round trip to work and average around 47-48mpg, I’m sure I can improve that if I really try, but can’t complain at that, it’s only a couple mpg less than my previous Insignia. I’ve tried changing into 2nd quickly and after giving it higher re...

Re: Dial Sweep On Startup
Mine seem to just jump about at the bottom every now and then rather than sweeping up and down, doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. Are yours not moving at all on start up?

Re: Struggling for a smooth drive
Hi Its quite a notchy gearbox compared to my Previous Mokka X overtime you will get used to it. It can be snatchy if you try to rush the change but I am sure once you've driven it a bit more you will be fine. I think you may be right. I am much smoother now since I posted, but still catches me out....

Re: Struggling for a smooth drive
Hi there, Just a thought, have you got the lane departure warning activate ?. I had the same problem until I realised as I drove over the speed bumps the car sensed the central white lines and tried to pull me back over. It may be worth a look. Have a great day. Russell B and Martha ( my grandland ...

Struggling for a smooth drive
Hi all, I’ve had the Grandland for a couple of weeks now and generally quite like the car. However, I’m really struggling to drive the car smoothly, especially driving in 2nd and going into 2nd. I’m not really sure of the best way to describe my issue, so please bear with me! When driving in 2nd, wh...
