The journey was over before it begun!
In April I ordered (from Robins and Day who are owned by PSA) a 1.5D Elite Nav automatic and was told to expect a 3-4 month delay. The chip shortage really hit home and the delays stacked up with not even a build date. Got a call with a build date yesterday of ...........July 2022 and it won't be a ...

Re: Where are Grandland Xs currently manufactured?
Still at Sochaux and at Eisenach in Germany although to be accurate they are being made nowhere at the moment as PSA have a parts crisis. This is affecting all makes but PSA seems to have been hit hard by shortages. 2022 delivery dates are already being quoted and that assumes that they can get all ...

Re: Silver bumper moulding
Thanks for the reply GRANDLANDX68 I'll give your advice a try. Much quicker if you can find your local automotive refinishing centre/ car paint specialist. They probably get asked this all the time and either have it as a stock item or, if they are like my local firm, can produce a colour matched a...

Re: Locking wheel nut key
If you have RAC/AA membership the patrols carry an emergency 'remove all' key. It does however destroy the existing nut and you will need to buy a net set and appropriate key.

Re: CD Player
The biggest problem is finding somewhere to put it as normally you fit it into the glove box. No chance on a Grandland I'll post the link when I find it for the one that I fitted into a Mokka X for a friend,. Two screws and it plugged into the USB socket. He wanted something demountable so we avoidi...

Re: Moderator Team : Welcome on board new moderator GrandlandX68!
Still haven't got a firm date due to the microprocessor shortage affecting all deliveries. I reckon September at the earliest. The new Mokka was not for me I'm afraid. New dash is great but the lack of leather and AGR on the seats meant that I had to give it a wide berth due to my mobility issues. (...

Re: Stop / Start issues
I’ve have read about the new Kuga, but they seem to have come clean with customers. Interesting that other ford models have issues. My partner had a focus 1.0 ecoboost for 3 years from new (2017 to 2020] and the stop / start never missed a beat. Perhaps I need to stop looking at new cars and search...

Re: Stop / Start issues
Then whatever you do, don't buy a Ford. I m waiting for delivery of my GLX and currently moderate the Ford Kuga forum. Not only are Fords notorious for the stop/start not working (or at best working intermittently at best) but their first foray into electric vehicles, the PHEV Kuga) had had three fu...
