Re: ancillary belt?

My info from Vauxhall is to just inspect at Main and Major services (2yrs/32,000 and 4yrs/64,000 etc). There is no mention of replacement. However, in the early days the belt is unlikely to fail, whereas after higher mileage, belt degradation can happen quite quickly, so 2yr intervals would then see...

Re: Cruise Control not working ?

It looks as though you are doing the correct procedure ... Press cruise control button (on the right side of the ring - the symbol without the addition of a speed limit sign on a post). Information screen momentarily shows cruise as paused. Then toggle the enabling rocker rearwards to the SET/- posi...

1.2 Turbo - correct oil

A number of people, under various topics, have been enquiring as to which oil type had been used at their last service. My 1.2 turbo (2019 EB2ADTS engine) is recommended to use Dexos1 gen2 oil in the supplied manual which was printed in October 2018. The Dexos1 gen2 specification has been granted to...

Re: fuel readings

My 2019 petrol shows range etc in the driver's information display. Twist the end of the indicators stalk to move between available information views. Manual, page 100.

Re: Infotainment Screen

Awful isn't it? This has been a complaint since day one and as far as I know, sausage all has been done about it. One infotainment system upgrade did change the outside temperature from grey to white - maybe Vauxhall feared litigation on the grounds of safety - but otherwise much of the screen is ga...

Saving Routes with Waypoints

I regularly use waypoints for navigation so as to force a non-default route. Typically I like to prepare a route the night before travel and then recall it the following day when needed, but the waypoints have never been included in the save - just the destination. Perhaps I'm saving incorrectly but...

Re: Recent Vauxhall Update failure

It is some while since I could not access the server and unfortunately (as it turns out) I did not save the data file captured by Wireshark. Hence... Brucey: I can't remember the URL (or even if there was one) because I focused on tracking progress with the hex/binary address for the destination. Ne...

Re: firmware/satnav updates

Assuming you have tried the old links mentioned on this forum without success, I can only suggest that you beg the use of someone else's 64 bit machine for an hour or so. As a guide it took me about an hour to download both the latest map and system build at a line bit speed of 25Mbits/S, but of cou...
