Re: Bonnet corrosion
The corrosion has no stone chips near it. I’ve had a better look and the whole underside of the bonnet is corroding. I’ll try and phone my local Vauxhall dealer and see what they say about this. I had a vectra c from it being 1 year old up until 2020 which was 13 years and the only sign of corrosion...

Bonnet corrosion
I’ve just been checking my car over after I washed and cleaned it and have found rust starting to appear on the front edge of the bonnet, when I run your hand under the front lip I can feel rust all along the under edge. I’ve had a Quick Look online and it seems like a know problem is this true? Wha...

Re: Risk Alert Declaration on Intellilink
What that does is update the data base for a speed camera, be it mobile or a new fixed position camera. You can also add accident black spots too.

Re: Download Workshop Manuals
Don’t buy it. I have and the contents are vague to say the least. I preferred the old school Haynes manual that way you actually had what you were looking for. The online version doesn’t cover in depth at all.

Re: Coolant type for 2018 1.5 td
No definitely not. It has to either be the dealers own coolant or that universal type from demon. If you add the red antifreeze as far as I know it gels up the header tank and can cause problems.

Re: Premature Cambelt Failure - 2018 Diesel
Is it the actual rubber cambelt or the cam timing chains?? Apparently there is a know fault with the 1.5 16v sty engine where the earlier models had a 7mm chain fitted which can snap and write the whole engine off. I thinks Vauxhall knows there’s a problem as they seem to be offering help with eithe...

Rubber/plastic cap under drivers side footwell
Bit of a strange one here. Does anybody know what the big plastic/rubber bungs are called/for that are fitted into the front floor chassis area under the drivers side footwell?? Each side should have 2 but for some reason 1 is missing on the drivers side and I would like to buy a replacement to fill...

Re: Vauxhall app.
My app has just crashed today and I’ve had to log back into it, now I can’t add my car into the app now as it says the vin is not recognised. I’ve tried both adding vin manually and by the photo method and neither works. Has anybody had this fault and fixed it??

1.5td grandland x timing chain check and renewal
I’m after some information on this problem I have just found out about my car and other 1.5td 16v grandlands. Apparently the engine has a rubber timing belt, but it also has a camshaft chain which by all accounts has a common problem of stretching and snapping. Has anybody came across this fault, or...
