Hi guys....I am hoping that someone can help me please. I have a 2018 Grandland and for the life of me i just cant get Android Auto to work. I have tried both the front and rear USB sockets to no avail. Once plugged in the phone does nothing and the Android Auto app on the infotainment screen doesn't do anything either ......Any ideas ?

This car just gets better and better.......not !

The cable used. It's often the problem! Good luck!

I had problems getting Android Auto connected at first as well, and first thought it was due to the cable, but later found out I first had to go into Settings, search for "Android Auto" and then select "Connect a car". That made it connect and also means it's been working fine since then.
