Whirring Vauxhall grandland x hybrid4 2020 plate

I recently bought a 2020 plate grandland x hybrid4 with 44000 on the clock, after doing about 4000 miles the car has started making a whirring noise when starting and the check engine light has come on. I have taken to a garage and they said it’s an electrical fault and possible gearbox, but needs to be seen by a specialist.

I have booked into Vauxhall but they only have availability for a diagnostic in feb.

Can anyone help based on the video below about what the issue is and have they had it before? Also roughly how much it will cost to fix
